What is internet privacy?
Internet privacy is a technical term which means privacy of someone’s personal details online. These personal details include the name and address of the person, details of bank account, personal profile, photographs etc. In general, there is no risk to reveal one’s general information on the internet, but; the problem begins when any scammer or internet criminal uses those details with the intension of performing cyber crime or online fraud.
In order to avoid such type of unpleasant incidences; a person relies on internet privacy. Unfortunately; there is not any totally secured system over the internet which can allow a person to secure all its information undisclosed, even after submitting them online in one or another way. For this purpose, people often ask for total anonymity.
One can go for the trick of not passing its PII i.e. personally identifiable information to unknown persons or third parties. People should be careful for the submission of their personal details online in a form or advertisement format. One should delimit the disclosure of personal details till it does not have any problem if that detail gets revealed; anyhow.
